From Spring 2021 through Summer 2022, printmaking became an early foundation of my design practice. Working through screen printing, linocut, plastic-plate etching, monotype, ink blending, yardage printing, and zine-making allowed me to develop a creative practice that existed independently from fashion while also giving me new ways to explore fashion ideas.

Much of the work centered on repetition, branding, typography, and image development. At the time, Live to Die functioned as a developing brand language built around the cyclical nature of human life, while other projects, including a tribute to Virgil Abloh, reflected more personal influences and ideas surrounding identity and representation in fashion. Through production, experimentation, and repeated variations of color, material, and placement, printmaking gradually shifted the way I approached design—from something more graphic-driven toward a practice that is increasingly art-focused and conceptually led.
